Great Expectations
For our November production 2018 we are planning to perform “Great Expectations” directed and scripted by Jenny King from the original text by Charles Dickens. This is the production that was unfortunately postponed last year and we are delighted to now be able to complete the project and bring this special piece of writing to life in Much Hadham.
Jenny previously wrote and directed an adaptation of A Christmas Carol which we performed at St Andrews Church in December 2015. Those of you who joined us for one of those performances will know that it was something of a special event - real community theatre with children from St Andrews School and friends and neighbours from the surrounding villages participating on stage and behind the scenes. We are hoping to replicate the success of this with Great Expectations which is also being performed in the wonderfully atmospheric surroundings of St Andrews Church on 15th, 16th and 17th November 2018.
